Adelaide Newborn Photography || Riley

RILEY

The minute I saw a photo of baby Riley I know he would make he most adorable photos!!! Not only did he have chubby cheeks but he had the best crop of hair I had seen in a long time! It even looked like it had been styled! When Riley arrived at the studio he did not disappoint! he was such a handsome baby and I oohed and aahed over him the whole session…

How did you find out you were pregnant? Do you have a story to tell?

I was in hospital with chest pains and was about to be sent for a ct scan when doctor advised my urine sample was positive for pregnancy.
I was on injection so didn’t think it was possible.

How did you announce your pregnancy?

Face to face to my parents and over Facebook after 12 week scan.

Did you have any weird cravings or experiences during your pregnancy?

Craved watermelon.
And I had ridiculous heartburn which then explained all his hair.

How did you find out the baby’s gender, before the birth or was it a surprise?

I had a 4d scan and revealed to myself and family through a surprise gender reveal with a balloon release.

How did you pick out your baby’s name? Is there a special meaning behind the name?

I looked through a million baby name books throughout my pregnancy. I was adamant I would name my baby “Jayce” but as soon as I saw him I named him Riley.

What hospital/birthing centre did you use? What was was your experience like?

Flinders medical centre.
The actual midwives, doctors and nurses in the birthing centre were amazing.
However the treatment during my pregnancy was questionable. I wasn’t given an actual midwife because I was classed as obese.

Do you have a story from the birth you would like to share?

He was my first child. Induced at 39 weeks due to my boy growing ahead during whole pregnancy and my boy having clubfoot to both feet so they didn’t want me going past due date.

What is the one thing you will never forget about the birth of your baby?

Contractions!!!! They are ridiculously painful!!! But the moment I saw him was the best moment of my life.

Do you have any favourite baby shops or baby products?

I love Big W and Target for clothing for baby.

Do you have any hints or tips for new mums and dads?

Take each day as a new day. Try not to stress the small stuff. A baby is the most beautiful thing in the world and even on the bad days they will light up your world.

What was the most memorable part of your newborn session?

Megan was amazing with Riley and I loved hearing someone repeatedly tell me how cute my baby is.

What are some of your favourite photos from the session?

The nudie photos that show all his hair on head too!

Did you enjoy your experience and would you recommend Megan Macdonald Photography in the future?

Absolutely ! She’ amazing!

    Sage

How did you find out you were pregnant? Do you have a story to tell?

I had had a feeling I was pregnant for a few days, but was still surprised when the double line appeared on the pregnancy test.

I made a box up of my husbands favourite sweets, and placed a baby singlet with in there with the line: “if I’m going to get fat, so are you!” Written on it.  I left it on the kitchen bench and hid a camera so I could record him opening it!! He was very excited!

How did you announce your pregnancy?

We privately told our closest family and friends in person.  We gave my parents a book with “Baby Smith” due Feb 2019 written in the front. It took them awhile to figure it out!!

Did you have any weird cravings or experiences during your pregnancy?

I craved oranges and strawberries in the first half of my pregnancy!!

How did you find out the baby’s gender, before the birth or was it a surprise?

We found after our 20 week scan! We had the sex given to us in an envelope, and we opened it privately when we got home. We kept it a secret the whole pregnancy…

How did you pick out your baby’s name? Is there a special meaning behind the name?

We wanted something not so common, but not too wacky! We were tossing up between Olive or Sage.

    Sage means wisdom

What hospital/birthing centre did you use? What was was your experience like?

Sage was born at the Womens and Childrens through the Midwifery Group Practice. We loved our midwife Melissa; it was wonderful having a dedicated midwife follow me through my entire pregnancy and postpartum!! She was incredible!! She ensured I was well looked after, and stood up for me when things didn’t go to plan.  We were laughing during the final stages of labour… it was amazing!

Do you have a story from the birth you would like to share?

My father in law walked in during my labour after being told by the front desk midwives the baby had already been born!!! Thank goodness I was all covered up!! Could have been Very awkward indeed!

What is the one thing you will never forget about the birth of your baby?

The extreme pain, but how excited and terrified I felt when she finally arrived! She was much smaller than I’d expected.

Do you have any favourite baby shops or baby products?

Baby Junction is an amazing baby shop, and they sell my favourite baby brand Snuggle Hunny! Frenchy and Wilson is another brand I love. They have the most beautiful prints!

Do you have any hints or tips for new mums and dads?

Take any help that is offered! Don’t fret over the chaos and mess in the first few weeks, it will settle soon enough. It’s hard and emotional, but it’s worth it!

Only follow the advice you want to!!

Do you have any keepsakes or heirlooms for the baby?

We kept the tags from around her feet from hospital, as well as her cot card.  We have a few teddies and blankets that have been handed down a few generations! I am also writing a baby book for her.

What was the most memorable part of your newborn session?

All the poop and wee!! It was hilarious! Oh, and how adorable Sage looked.

Why did you decide to have newborn photos taken?

To remind us always of how Sage was at that special time.

Why did you choose Megan Macdonald Photography to capture your memories?

We loved her style!! Her photography is just beautiful! She was easy to contact, and responded quickly!

Did you enjoy your experience and would you recommend Megan Macdonald Photography in the future?

Megan was very kind and lovely to work with, but also highly professional. I felt as though Sage was in safe hands from the beginning!! Highly recommended.

      Adelaide Baby Photographer || Ilijana

      ILIJANA

Beautiful Baby Ilijana is the second gorgeous baby I have photographed in her family. In 2017 I photographed her big brother Vasilije. It was so lovely to see everyone again and It was fabulous seeing what a little cutie Vasilije had grown in too. There is definitely a strong family resemblance and I’ll pop a link below so you can see for your self. Ilijana was the perfect little lady for her session and I just love all the set ups and girly pink!

How did you find out you were pregnant? Do you have a story to tell?

After just losing my sister to cancer on the 10th of April I started to feel very unwell shortly after the passing. Thinking it was nothing thought I’d take a pregnancy test only to find out it was a blessing that had to be sent by her knowing that this little princess would help me and the family get through such a time with this small blessing in our lives.

How did you announce your pregnancy?

We didn’t announce the pregnancy till I was about 8 months. I didn’t show for a very long time. But as most do we announced it on Facebook

Did you have any weird cravings or experiences during your pregnancy?

My craving this pregnancy were Oreo Mcflurrys from McDonald’s and lots of fruit.

How did you find out the baby’s gender, before the birth or was it a surprise?

No as soon as I found out I was pregnant I had to find out the sex. I have no patience. When I found out she was a little girl I was over the moon. A little girl to add to the family as we already had a little boy.

How did you pick out your baby’s name? Is there a special meaning behind the name?

I loved the name ilijana, I think it was such a pretty name. And it felt more complete with my sisters name as her middle name. As she was born very close to my sisters bday, a little girl, and was a blessing from her with no doubt in my mind.

What hospital/birthing centre did you use? What was was your experience like?

My little princess was born at Burnside Memorial Hospital. My birthing experience was very fast thinking it was going to be as long as my sons, little Ilijana ended up flying out with 2.5 pushes!

What is the one thing you will never forget about the birth of your baby?

The fact that when it was time to push she flew right on out. Hahha!

Do you have any favourite baby shops or baby products?

My favourite baby product would have to be the Medella pump. The silicon bibs with the catcher in the bottom Multi Mam nipple covers during the first few weeks of breast feeding. Saves your nipples. Baby Bunting always has everything you want.

Do you have any hints or tips for new mums and dads?

I know this sounds like tough love but try to get them into a routine of self settling immediately. With a new born I like to feed, burp, change, tiny little cuddle session and pop them down right away. And let them get to sleep on their own. I also feel if your relaxed and calm so are they

What was the most memorable part of your newborn session?

All moments throughout the shoot were memorable from start to finish. Megan has a way of making you feel like you have known her all your life. All the new styles you go through and choice of head bands. Ohh and how can I forget when my husband did the family shot with the little one that she was that relaxed in her daddy’s arms that everything else became to relaxed also and left her mark everywhere. Hahaha

What are some of your favourite photos from the session?

My favourite photos are the ones where she is laying half naked with a wrap just draped over her looking so peaceful and natural. I love how she is just wearing her lil head band and just sleeping so peaceful like the little princess she is.

Why did you decide to have newborn photos taken?

I wanted to capture their first few new weeks on this earth. Those young moments and early days is what I would forget most if I didn’t capture it. As that first month consists of long nights and early feeds. You forget how small and precious they are. As it’s so hard to look past those sleepless nights. And next thing you know they are turning one and taking their first steps and saying their first words.

Why did you choose Megan Macdonald Photography to capture your memories?

When I first saw her work 2 years ago I knew I had to have her do my son’s newborn shoot and then now with just having my second how could I not go through her again. She has such great talent. All her photos are so warm and natural in a sense. Why wouldn’t you choose her.

Did you enjoy your experience and would you recommend Megan Macdonald Photography in the future?

This is now my second new born photo shoot with Megan and I can not explain how relaxed and professional she is. As soon as you walk through her house into her comfortable warm and ever so inviting studio. The amount of props she has could make any new first time mumma or papa weak to their knees!

        Adelaide Newborn Photographer || Florence

        Florence

Baby florence was a dream for her Adelaide newborn photography session. She was as sleepy as can be and as cute as a button! Florence has the most adorable little squishy face and chubby cheeks. I cant get over how chubby they look in her froggy pose! I couldn’t pick a favourite from Florence’s session. They are all so cute.

How did you find out you were pregnant? Do you have a story to tell?

I was having a really bad day at work, to the point I was going to quit that night.
I went home, took a test and I was pregnant. So I decided to stay at my job!

How did you announce your pregnancy?

I gave everyone a photo of my nephew says he’s going to get a little cousin for Christmas.

Did you have any weird cravings or experiences during your pregnancy?

Not really, I just really wanted salad, veggies and fruit. Couldn’t stand meat!

How did you find out the baby’s gender, before the birth or was it a surprise?

We did a harmony test. We found out at 10 weeks what we were having.

How did you pick out your baby’s name? Is there a special meaning behind the name?

I loved the name Florence. And when I told hubby he did too. Middle name is after his mum. We just modified it a little bit. His mums name is Pasqualina and Florence’s middle name is Adalina.

What hospital/birthing centre did you use? What was was your experience like?

        North Adelaide, Calvary.
I was in labour for 15 hours. But little miss didn’t want to come out so it resulted in a c section

What is the one thing you will never forget about the birth of your baby?

Meeting my baby for the first time.
But if you were talking about the labour then definitely the epidural!! The worst part of it all!

Do you have any favourite baby shops or baby products?

I like seed and country road.

What was the most memorable part of your newborn session?

        The family shots

What are some of your favourite photos from the session?

All of them!! I just can’t get enough!!

Why did you decide to have newborn photos taken?

It’s something she can have forever.

Why did you choose Megan Macdonald Photography to capture your memories?

Megan captured my sisters baby, and said only good stuff about her. We decided to go with her.

Did you enjoy your experience and would you recommend Megan Macdonald Photography in the future?

            Adelaide Baby Photos || Harper

            HARPER

Beautiful Baby Harper was just an angel for her session! My favourite photos are of her on the pink background and I’m pretty partial to the photo of her in the bucket as well. I also just adore the photos of Harper with her big brother and sister. You can really see that Harpers brother and sister are just smitten with the new addition to the family.

How did you find out you were pregnant? Do you have a story to tell?

I remember heading to bed early as my husband Alex popped out and feeling a bit ‘different’. As I laid there I was thinking about being in the supermarket that afternoon and having a lady call me a name and I nearly burst into tears (which just isn’t me), at that moment I knew I was pregnant and I jumped out of bed and did a test… And yes I was!

How did you announce your pregnancy?

We told our families the news just before Christmas and I told a couple of my close girlfriends and then we waited until we’d passed the 12 week mark to put an announcement on Facebook.

Did you have any weird cravings or experiences during your pregnancy?

No weird cravings for me, I had a really rough pregnancy – morning sickness for over 20 weeks, pelvic instability, conjunctivitis and chest infection which only cleared with two rounds of antibiotics the week before Harper was born.

How did you find out the baby’s gender, before the birth or was it a surprise?

We did the harmony test so we found out we were having a baby girl at 10 weeks. We wee always going to find out the gender just like we did with our first but this time it was a little surreal knowing so early. I was at work in a meeting and popped out and ran into a spare meeting room to take the call and then I called my husband to tell him the wonderful news! Needless to say I went back to the meeting a little preoccupied!

How did you pick out your baby’s name? Is there a special meaning behind the name?

My husband and I were throwing out names but in the early days there wasn’t one that we both loved. I fell in love with Harper but my husband didn’t warm to it straight away. We hadn’t talked about it for a while when I got a text message from him telling me he really liked it so that became our number one pick. Harper takes her middle name from my late mum Carol who sadly is no longer with us. To me, it’s a way to connect the two of them and it was always something I wanted to do if I was lucky enough to have a baby girl.

What hospital/birthing centre did you use? What was was your experience like?

Burnside War Memorial Hospital and just like my first all. Of the midwives and my Obstetrician were just wonderful. Harper was a planned caesarean.

What is the one thing you will never forget about the birth of your baby?

It’s just such a surreal experience and one that my husband and I will never forget, it was amazing to share it with him and have him by my side.

Do you have any favourite baby shops or baby products?

You can’t go past Baby Bunting it has everything you need but for Harper’s nursery I bought beautiful products from Pottery Barn Kids and Adairs.

Do you have any hints or tips for new mums and dads?

Trust yourselves and your gut instinct and you’ll get to learn your baby over time, be kind to each other and work as a team with your husband, that will help you get through the tough moments. It’s so cliche to say but enjoy the moments when you’re having a 3am cuddle as the time really does go so quickly.

Do you have any keepsakes or heirlooms for your bub?

We’ve kept a newspaper from the day Harper was born and for her Christening gown I am going to be using my step daughter’s flower girl dress from our wedding five years ago (which was made from the same material as my wedding dress). Hopefully this is then a dress that can be used in our family.

What was the most memorable part of your newborn session?

The whole shoot was just amazing but when we had all three kids together I remember looking at my husband and just sharing a ‘moment’ with him as it was beautiful to see them all together

What are some of your favourite photos from the session?

I especially love the ones where Harper is in a dusky type pink and there is one with my son Jackson holding Harper with a cheeky grin that just melts my heart.

Why did you decide to have newborn photos taken?

For us it was really important to capture such a special time so it was something I started looking into quite early in my pregnancy.

Why did you choose Megan Macdonald Photography to capture your memories?

To begin with Megan was a Google search and I looked at a lot of photographers and if possible I wanted someone who wasn’t going to be a long drive away. It was Megan’s photos on her website that cemented her as our newborn photographer, they are just absolutely beautiful. Whilst she uses an array of beautiful props they complement the baby, some photographers I researched the baby was almost lost in all of the props and I didn’t want that for ours. Megan was efficient and friendly in all our email exchanges, gave us tips before our shoot so I was filled with confidence before we actually met her.

Did you enjoy your experience and would you recommend Megan Macdonald Photography in the future?

Absolutely! In fact I’d like Megan to capture our next round of photos for Harper. Megan has a beautiful studio, she was welcoming and friendly during the shoot but most importantly her work is outstanding and we are grateful that she captured such beautiful memories for our family.

Adelaide Hills Baby Photographer || Nathaniel

              Nathaniel

When I found out Nathaniel was coming into the studio and he was a whopping 4960g (close enough to 11 pound!) I was thrilled! Nathaniel is one of the biggest bubs I have ever photographed. He was also not overly tall and was only 54cm long so I knew I was going to be in chubby baby heaven!

How did you find out you were pregnant? Do you have a story to tell?

Nathaniel is a planned third child, he is our first boy after two girls.

How did you announce your pregnancy?

We announced our pregnancy with a photo of mummy wearing a Mama Bird t-shirt holding up a Baby Bird onesie.

Did you have any weird cravings or experiences during your pregnancy?

No unusual cravings or experiences but we did have fun documenting the pregnancy through photos with mummy and the girls.

How did you find out the baby’s gender, before the birth or was it a surprise?

No we didn’t know the gender before he was born, it was a lovely surprise.

How did you pick out your baby’s name? Is there a special meaning behind the name?

Nathaniel is a name we have loved since we were pregnant with our first child.

What hospital/birthing centre did you use? What was was your experience like?

Gawler Hospital. We went through the one to one midwife program and had a water birth. My midwife Roxy was amazing!

Do you have a story from the birth you would like to share?

They broke my waters at 11am and Nate was born at 11:45. It was a crazy intense fast labour.

What is the one thing you will never forget about the birth of your baby?

              The afterbirth pains!

Do you have any favourite baby shops or baby products?

Hahaha well of course! I am a small business owner myself and stock so many gorgeous things for babies and children! My favourite brands are Jamie Kay and My Brother John/Lacey Lane.

Do you have any hints or tips for new mums and dads?

Enjoy every minute, it goes so quickly. Try to relax and not to sweat the small stuff.

Do you have any keepsakes or heirlooms for the baby?

Yes I have a box of keepsakes including some sweet crochet and knitted pieces.

What was the most memorable part of your newborn session?

The beautiful photos with my girls.

What are some of your favourite photos from the session?

Our whole family photo is my very favourite and thanks to Megan for making sure it was perfect for me! I also adore the pics of Nate in the nude where you can see his delicious rolls!

Why did you decide to have newborn photos taken?

As a memory of our (maybe cough cough) last baby.

Why did you choose Megan Macdonald Photography to capture your memories?

I found her on Instagram and loved the tones and styles.

Did you enjoy your experience and would you recommend Megan Macdonald Photography in the future?

Yes Megan was great, patient and accommodating!

                Adelaide Baby Photographer || Kaia

                KAIA

All I could think when gorgeous Baby Kaia came into the studio for her Adelaide newborn baby photos was “What a stunning baby!”. Miss Kaia is so darn cute its crazy! Kaia’s mum didn’t want any wrapped photos taken at the session so it was lucky she was perfectly sleepy!  I really love both Kaia’s bucket shot and the shot of her in the drawer but I think her froggy photo is my favourite. It shows of her fabulously chubby cheeks and putty lips so well. After the session I asked Patsy, Kaia’s mum some questions about Kaia’s birth and her newborn photo session…

How did you find out you were pregnant? Do you have a story to tell?

Nothing really exciting here. The pee on a stick and we were pregnant.

How did you find out the baby’s gender, before the birth or was it a surprise?

Definitely wanted to find out prior to the birth so that we could get organised!

How did you pick out your baby’s name? Is there a special meaning behind the name?

My husband picked the name and i actually really liked it. it was nice that he picked the name as it made him feel really involved and it was a really nice bonding moment prior to the child arriving.

What hospital/birthing centre did you use? What was was your experience like?

Calvary North Adelaide. All the team were incredible. I would NEVER hesitate to recommend them. They were all so supportive and taught us so much being new parents.

What is the one thing you will never forget about the birth of your baby?

It was much harder than I thought. I don’t think i would ever have been prepared for how hard it was despite all the reading and researching.

What was the most memorable part of your newborn session?

It was so hot in there! It made me realise how warm newborns actually like it! Kaia was so relaxed and slept so well through it!

Why did you decide to have newborn photos taken?

We weren’t initially going to do newborn photography but then we realised we wont regret taking them but we might regret never taking them!

Why did you choose Megan Macdonald Photography to capture your memories?

My sister in law used Megan and was really happy with the photos. Having a look through her gallery and Instagram pages there were a lot of poses and styling of the photos which we preferred over other photographers

Did you enjoy your experience and would you recommend Megan Macdonald Photography in the future?

Definitely would recommend Megan. She is a natural with newborns. As parents, we felt very comfortable that Megan was handling our newborn well. She was very patient and particular (which we liked!). She got us some incredible photos!

                  Adelaide Newborn Photography || Amelia

                  AMELIA

Sweet little baby Amelia was only 5 days old when she came into the studio for her newborn session. Amelia is just as cute as can be and gave me lots of gorgeous baby smiles while having her photo taken with Dad which I think are totally adorable! I got to use my brand new cream wood floor during Amelia’s session and I have to say I love it! I’m so happy to be able to offer both bright and light photos on the cream floor as well as my signature dark and moody photos on my dark wood. I think my favourite photos of Amelia’s session are the ones of Amelia in the pink drawer. I have had that drawer for about a year but for one reason or another I have never gotten around to using it. I cant believe I waited that long to use it because it photographs beautifully. After the session I asked Apple, Amelia’s mum some questions about Amelia’s birth and her newborn photo session…

How did you find out you were pregnant? Do you have a story to tell?

I have a polycystic ovary syndrome which is a common hormone disease. So it is not easy to fall pregnant due to irregular ovulation. I found out that I have it after trying to conceive for over a year and nothing works. And we consulted a fertility doctor. Luckily we didn’t have to resort to IVF because I responded well with medications. On the early hours of Oct 21,2017 I took a home pregnancy test and it showed a positive result. Surprised my husband that morning and both of us were in tears.

How did you announce your pregnancy?

I didn’t have a huge announcement. I was too excited. They said to announce it once I’m at least 12 weeks, but couldn’t wait. I told our family and close friends straight away.

Did you have any weird cravings or experiences during your pregnancy?

I was lucky not to experience any morning sickness. I was craving for porridge.

How did you find out the baby’s gender, before the birth or was it a surprise?

I found out before the birth. I asked my close friend Jo to open the envelope with the gender written inside by the technician. And I had a gender reveal ceremony with my closest friends and family. We popped a big black balloon and inside were pink confetti.

How did you pick out your baby’s name? Is there a special meaning behind the name?

I dreamed about it. I dreamed I was having a baby girl and her name was Amelia.

What hospital/birthing centre did you use? What was was your experience like?

I gave birth at Lyell McEwin Hospital. The midwives who looked after me were amazing. I felt like I was really supported every step of the way.

What is the one thing you will never forget about the birth of your baby?

I will never forget the time I met her for the very first time. I was in tears. I was very emotional. This is the time I have been waiting for all my life and finally it has come. It is definitely worth the wait.

Do you have any favourite baby shops or baby products?

I like to shop online because I can do it anytime and even if I’m just at home. My favourite online shop is Carters/ Oshkosh Australia.

Do you have any hints or tips for new mums and dads?

I’m also new to this parenthood. One thing I’ve learned in this first two weeks is to PERSEVERE.

What was the most memorable part of your newborn session?

The most memorable part was when Hubby carried Amelia and she smiled while being photographed. She smiled for a good 10 seconds. It was captured beautifully.

What are some of your favourite photos from the session?

It is so difficult to pick favourites. All photos were amazing.

Why did you decide to have newborn photos taken?

We wanted to create beautiful memories with our little one. So we decided to have photos taken by a professional photographer.

Why did you choose Megan Macdonald Photography to capture your memories?

I was searching for a newborn photographer in Adelaide and I found out about her on Instagram. I loved all her posts and stories. Her photos are the kind of photos I envision to have for my dear Amelia.

Did you enjoy your experience and would you recommend Megan Macdonald Photography in the future?

Absolutely. One of the best decision we’ve done is choosing her to capture our memories. I would highly recommend her.

                    Adelaide Newborn Photography || Georgia

                    Georgia

I was so happy when Georgia’s mum Em Jaye asked me to use bold colours during Georgia’s Adelaide newborn photography session. I hardly get asked to use bold colours but I just love them! I’m pretty sure Georgia was happy with them because she gave me a few cute smiles during the session. Em Jaye and her partner are both musicians so they brought a guitar into the studio for me to use and also a Piti (wooden baby carrier from the APY lands) because Georgia has Aboriginal heritage. After the session I asked Em Jaye, some questions about Georgia’s birth and her newborn photo session…

How did you find out you were pregnant? Do you have a story to tell?

I had planned to go out for cocktails with friends to celebrate the feast festival and pride march. I wasn’t feeling well the night before. I ended up drinking mock-tails at the festival so my friends wouldn’t get suspicious.

How did you announce your pregnancy?

We sent all of our friends and family a photo of three Christmas stockings hanging on our mantle.

Did you have any weird cravings or experiences during your pregnancy?

                    I couldn’t get enough milkshakes

How did you find out the baby’s gender, before the birth or was it a surprise?

Our girl was camera shy. We had 6 ultrasound scans but didn’t know until the doctors placed her in our arms. She was a fantastic surprise.

How did you pick out your baby’s name? Is there a special meaning behind the name?

The song Georgia on my mind is one of our favourites. It is also a nod to her twin uncles with the middle names George and Louis.

What hospital/birthing centre did you use? What was was your experience like?

                    The Lyell McEwin hospital.

What is the one thing you will never forget about the birth of your baby?

Her grumpy little frown when she finally entered the world and the proud look on my husbands face when he first held his daughter.

Do you have any keepsakes or heirlooms for your bub?

We will be having a whiskey made and barrelled this year to open on her 18th birthday.

What was the most memorable part of your newborn session?

How peacefully Georgia slept and how comfortable we all felt in Megan’s studio.

What are some of your favourite photos from the session?

                    Our first family portraits.

Why did you decide to have newborn photos taken?

We wanted to freeze this moment in time. Our first baby, our first days as parents, her first days on this earth.

Why did you choose Megan Macdonald Photography to capture your memories?

                    Megan’s work speaks for itself.
She is so professional and easily my favourite newborn photographer in Adelaide. We are very lucky she chose to work with us and make our baby look so beautiful.

Did you enjoy your experience and would you recommend Megan Macdonald Photography in the future?

It was a very positive experience. I recommend Megan to everyone and will continue to do so. We hope to visit Megan’s studio every time our family grows
